Description
Giffard offers a very wide range of highly flavoured and colourful pure sugar syrups which have been pasteurised to ensure a perfect preservation.
The syrup is made from pure sugar syrup made from concentrated blackberry juice. No preservatives.
Blackberries grows spontaneously throughout Europe and many regions of the world, and has been used in naturopathy and sometimes as a tincture, blackberries are widely used in food. In jam, jelly or dessert. Its use in the manufacture of drinks, liqueurs or syrups is mentioned in the London Pharmacopoeia as early as 1696.
