Burr grinders work without generating excess heat, so the integrity of your beans (and your coffee) stays intact. Flat blade grinders crush, rather than grind, your coffee. In doing so, they create heat and dull the flavour even before water has a chance to start the brewing process. Ti-coating allows for less heat, less static, and so less fines, resulting in a cleaner flavour.
